Welcome to ExploringTurtles.com! We are a young couple who are carrying our homes on our backs (like turtles) through Asia for six months, starting in March 2013. We packed up our home in Los Angeles in February in order to start our adventures. We’ve gone from being surrounded by fancy cars, traffic, luxury brands, and the comforts of American life to living out of a backpack and not always knowing where we will sleep tonight.

Each day brings new excitement and experiences. Through this blog, we hope to remember our journeys, for ourselves, for friends and family, and for all of you out there who are reading. You can expect to find stories, photos, tips, and of course reviews from all the places we visit.
